Closing the gap on Digital Skimming and Magecart Attacks

What does PCI 4.0 mean for eCommerce, Security and Compliance Teams?

When:
Thursday, February 9th, 2:00pm EST

Digital Skimming and Magecart attacks are the new favorite method of credit card data and PII theft for cyber criminals. New research shows that thousands of these attacks went unnoticed in 2022. Visa has said that they represent a majority of the fraud incidents they investigated in the year, and PCI 4.0 has sounded the alarm on these attacks by specifically calling out preventative measures that will soon be mandatory for compliance.

Stopping these attacks will require a new way of thinking for eCommerce, Security and Compliance teams. But, unlike other complex problems you face, preventing these attacks does not have to mean organizational disruption. A solution to the problem is easy,
cost-effective, rapid, and comes without adding additional workloads to already overworked teams.

Matt McGuirk, Security Architect, Office of the CTO at Source Defense on February 9th at 2:00pm EST for an interactive session to address the questions you have around digital skimming and Magecart attacks, the risk to your customers and brand, and the guidance found in section 6.4.3 and 11.6.1 of PCI 4.0.

With this informal AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, we'll leave you better prepared to tackle the problem, close the gap before a breach occurs, and get this off the list before your next PCI audit.
